I am is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and owner of Eastern Sky Wellness. I’m ANCC board-certified as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, having earned a bachelor’s in nursing from Northeastern University and a graduate degree from the Medical University of SC. A lifelong learner, I enjoy keeping up with best practices in the field of psychiatry including the rapidly emerging psychedelic medicine field. I’m a member of professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders (APSARD).

I have primarily worked in outpatient settings including private practice in Charleston, SC, and community mental health in western NC and Albuquerque, NM. In 2003 I opened Eastern Sky Wellness, providing medication and counseling services for Maine residents. I’ve always been a fierce advocate for my clients, known for going the extra mile when needed.

In May 2026, I began a dual certificate program to become a Nature as Medicine practitioner and Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) and am excited to weave this modality into my current clinical work. In 2027 I will be offering virtual forest bathing walks to clients across the country, as well as in-person walks in the greater Asheville, NC area — if you are interested, please email me! More info to come.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, being in wilderness, the creative arts, and hanging out with her two dogs, Martha and Jojo. Whenever possible, I travel to Maine to visit family and spend time in the woods, or to NM and CO to soak up high desert nature and watch Magpies. At the moment, the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC is home.
