Julia Gallant is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and owner of Eastern Sky Wellness. She is ANCC board-certified as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned a bachelor’s in nursing from Northeastern University and a graduate degree from the Medical University of SC. Julia is a lifelong learner and enjoys keeping up with best practices in the field of psychiatry. She is a member of professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders (APSARD).

Julia has primarily worked in outpatient settings including private practice in Charleston, SC, and community mental health in western NC and Albuquerque, NM. In 2003 she opened Eastern Sky Wellness, providing medication management and counseling services for Maine residents. She has always been a fierce advocate for her clients and is known for going the extra mile when needed.

In May 2026, Julia began a dual certificate program to become a Nature as Medicine practitioner and Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT), and is excited to weave this modality into her current clinical work.

In her free time, Julia enjoys hiking, camping, being in wilderness, the creative arts, and hanging out with her two dogs, Martha and Jojo. Whenever possible, she travels to Maine to visit family and spend time in the woods, or to NM and CO to soak up high desert nature and watch Magpies. At the moment she claims the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC as home.
